LED lights are capable of functioning even in the drastically cold temperatures, so some of the latest upright models have been designed with multiple LED lights inside. Make sure you look for this feature while looking for a unit to bring into your laboratory; you will be really glad you did later even if you have to pay a bit more for the unit. 

Exterior Digital Display

When you are storing things like biological materials, the slightest fluctuations in temperature can completely ruin your stored items. Therefore, your upright nitrogen freezer will have to be continually monitored to ensure it is at the proper temperature. To make temperature monitoring more efficient and easy, the best models have an integrated digital display on the outside, usually on the door, that shows the temperature, settings, and vacuum pressure within the unit. Some models will have a control panel along with the digital display where you can adjust temperature settings and other settings as well. As expected, this is an important feature to have.
